Ashtar On The Road - From Then To Now
We've come a long way since that first organized gathering to hear Ashtar, Commander of the Galactic Federation Fleet, on May 23rd 2004. As we have evolved, our lives have changed dramatically and permanently, so much so that I hardly recognize myself as the person I was when Ashtar on the Road began!
For those of you who haven't heard the story, I was going to Edie's home once a week to do about a 20-minute channeling of Ashtar. She and Brian recognized themselves as Ashtar commanders and wanted to hear directly from him. They recorded his messages and played them back. I have to say that Ashtar made quite an impression on me, in a powerful but easy kind of way. (Prior to that time, I had had a few "spur of the moment" experiences channeling Sananda and Sekhmet, although I had written about 300 pages from Sananda, Mother Mary and Hilarion who had identified themselves as guides to me in the early 1990's. I had also done an impromptu channeling of Ashtar for several people at a restaurant in Olympia, after we participated in a peace march by carrying a huge NESARA banner.)
One day while listening to the recording at Edie's, I kept hearing "Ashtar on the Road" over and over. When I realized what Ashtar was asking me to do, I argued vehemently - "I'm no public speaker, I don't want to get up in front of strangers, What if you don't show up, etc." Fortunately my friends caught on quickly and said not to worry - they'd take care of everything.
The next thing I knew, on May 23rd, 2004, I was walking into a house where about 30 people were gathered. The hostess felt my panic, so she invited me to go into a quiet room to prepare. Thus originated my practice of leaving the room to "turn it all over" to Ashtar and the Ascended Masters just prior to beginning the channelings. It was also at this first gathering that Mother Mary gave a blessing at the end. Ever since then we have a Master giving a blessing to conclude the gathering. And so began a series of actual on-the-road gatherings, usually 2 evening channelings per week, as well as many all-day and weekend workshops, or "funshops" as Ashtar called them. We have traveled from Vancouver, Canada to San Diego, California. We've done presentations in private homes, metaphysical bookstores, hotels, etc. We have been delighted to be outdoors, in Joan's magical garden, Karen's friendly forest, and at Deborah and Steve's Bushwillows, a magnificent portal to the higher dimensions!
Ashtar always has had a powerful energy, and he has made his points very clearly, based upon his fundamentals of Love, Compassion, Forgiveness and Gratitude. Unlike his previous "coming to rescue us" messages through Tuella in the 1970's, he's all about helping us to make our Ascension in 2012 ("No Dates!") This is because of the Harmonic Convergence in 1987, where we chose Ascension instead of self-destruction, thus completely changing the timelines of Planet Earth and nullifying many of the old prophecies. In his messages, Ashtar includes what he calls his "State of the Earth" reports. He speaks on what is going on behind the scenes, always encouraging us to beam Love to the dark hats and to thank them for showing us what changes are needed to bring the Light of Peace and all of its attendant blessings to our Planet.
Even though he's well versed in science and mathematics, he knows that I'm not consciously knowledgeable in those areas, so he generally doesn't discuss them when he uses my voice. However, he does manage to sneak in a bit of quantum physics now and then. After all, Love is the most powerful energy in the universe! And, he uses a variety of teaching methods - everything from powerful meditations to "rolling in the aisles" humor. Lately Ashtar and Company have added a variety of recorded music to our conference calls. All of their techniques are intended to help us to focus and to empower us to co-create with them all of the changes so needed by our Earth.
Often we are asked to read a book or watch a movie. My favorite "homework" mission was to watch all of the Star Wars movies, beginning with Episode I in which we fell in love with a precocious young boy named Annakin Skywalker. As we followed him through the subsequent movies, the assignment was to keep on loving him. This got progressively more difficult as he became Darth Vader, but the ending of the last episode was a real triumph of Light over Dark!
We were blessed to have a gathering in Portland, Oregon, videotaped by Maggie and a videographer. After that, we were inspired to have another professional filming of our first gathering at the Salish Lodge which is located on the sacred grounds at Snoqualmie Falls, Washington. Our coming there with Ashtar and the Masters and Angels on June 3rd, 2005, facilitated the opening of a portal, which is still open today as far as we know. It was truly exhilarating to experience the energies there, and several people saw a ship over the falls after our event! One note which I have evolved enough to find humorous today is that we heard that someone had made copies of the DVDs from that event and was selling them in Florida!
Along the way, Ashtar has asked us to do "community" missions. When he suggested a petition project in the spring of 2007, "We the People for Peace" was born. The petitions were to our US senators and Congresspeople from Washington state, thanking them if they had not recently voted to continue funding of the war in Iraq, and requesting that they resign from office if they had voted for the bill. Fran set up a great website www.WeThePeopleForPeace.org in record time and we had some wonderful volunteer help, particularly at a large outdoor festival that June. After spending the day gathering signatures, we went to Betty's home where we were treated to a peace concert by William Florian, the composer and singer of I'm Declaring Peace.
On November 15, 2005, we began a new way of presenting the loving wisdom of Ashtar and Company with the first of our conference calls. Since then we have done 109 teleconferences to date, thus enabling us to reach worldwide with our Family Gatherings. Just like us, the calls have evolved. Now we have Elise not only serving as Moderator, but also giving a meditation to lead in to Ashtar's message, followed by two guest speakers and music. Sekhmet particularly loves the music and she always requests something "rocky rolly" to dance to at the end of the call. A fairly recent feature of the teleconferences is the Peace Exercise on each call, a meditative visualization which is usually led by a guest speaker, such as Sananda or St Germain. Ashtar always gives some background information on the focus of the Exercise as part of his message. We also receive lots of loving support from Mary and Verna, who are with us for the teleconferences.
Two other conference calls have evolved from our Ashtar on the Road calls -Mary's teleconferences on private charitable foundations, and Meg Hoopes' calls to help with dendrite removals and other clearings. Of course, our most recent "on the road' event was our trip to Maui, out of which came our permanent move here. Prior to coming we were inspired to establish our private non-profit Living Lemuria Foundation, on September 21st, 2009. This was brilliantly facilitated by Mary, who mailed Fran, Elise and me all the documents to sign. I vividly remember dashing to a bank during Seattle's rush hour after a filming session of Elise interviewing Meg about her healing techniques. We got there just in time to get our signatures notarized, then mailed the papers to Verna in Hawaii for her signature.
Now that we're living here in Maui, our Living Lemuria Foundation has been given many assignments to do while we await funding to open our on-site Ascension Center. We are researching quantum products and therapies, and once again Fran has set up a beautiful website where we have recently opened an online store: www.LivingLemuria.org.
