Confucius & The Koi

Confucius And The Koi

Confucius:  "Ah so, beautiful ladies, it is so delightful that you have come, and as my beloved brother Ashtar will say, I am in myself a representation of calm peace and serenity and you have found the key to these beautiful beings, these swimmers who delight in this pond.  These pools are especially nurturing to them and they feel especially loved because no one can pass by here without extending some appreciation toward them.  They are not hunted or slain; they are not used for their oils or for their skins or for any part of their beings.  They are left whole and intact, as indeed all creatures upon planet Earth should be.  And so they can be happy here and safe and secure and they resonate peace and calm and serenity back to all those who have the wisdom to stop long enough and connect with them.  And it is most delightful indeed when a person stops long enough to connect, because then they receive that loving, loving gift, or the trio of gifts, if you will, of peace and calm and serenity.

"And so one could do no better than to have a pool such as this in a shady place where these magnificent ones can just be, and to sit upon a quiet bench of contemplation or upon the ground itself and to spend time with these beauties.  It is a way, indeed, of imparting peace and calm and serenity into one’s own heart without the need to do anything except just be there in quiet contemplation.  No deep meditational exercises are necessary.  There need be no music in the background save the rushing water from the sweet little falls, and if all is green and shady around, a bridge is most appropriate.  And one can simply stand upon the bridge and be in constant delight in the flow of giving and receiving the wondrous energies.   And that, beloveds, is the wisdom of Confucius.  And so it is."
